Location is right in the historic area of Charleston. The market is nearby and great shopping on King Street is within easy walking distance.

Mattress firm to the extreme and not level. No on-site baggage storage. No on-site management (which meant management was not aware the smoke detectors were wired in and were being tested by a technician on on property rather than ringing due to batteries needing to be replaced). Not a true b&b in that there were only boxed meals to go.

Very professional staff with fantastic customer service. Always provided prompt responses to all questions and requests, which was greatly appreciated. The house was impeccable and in a great location. My family and I will definitely be back again when the weather is nicer. Thanks for a memorable trip!

Upon arriving at the property we were quickly greeted by the bell hop who doubled as the valet. He was very polite & accommodating as my wife is currently in a wheelchair and he made sure she was able to safely enter the hotel. The front desk was extremely courteous, as well. The entire staff was very friendly and professional. They were all very well dressed and busy attending to the inner workings of the hotel, but would stop whatever they were doing to attend to the needs of the guests. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful ! We were quite amazed at the twelve foot ceilings in our room & throughout the hotel, the walls were adorned with a very classic golden damask wallpaper. It all flowed quite seamlessly. The Pennisula Grill was quite impressive, as well. In all fairness, it was a Friday night. With that being said, things had gotten off to a slow start & our waiter was quite busy and his demeanor was initially not overly welcoming. However, once dinner ensued, our dining experience quickly became one to be remembered. Their filet literally melts in your mouth. Everything was delicious ! Outside the restaurant, is a very relaxing courtyard, complete with tropical plants & fountains. Simply beautiful. The hotel is located right across from the mkt. and just above Rainbow Row. Very conveniently located for all this beautiful city has to offer ! Cannot recommend this hotel enough ! Will certainly stay here again Thank you to all who made this trip wonderful Stars: 5/5
